Neck Compression Garment – A lot of people who have a lot of weight in their neck are in the process of losing weight in order to achieve a more desirable shape. One thing that many of these people may be doing is wearing a neck compression garment by Vans, Prada, ordesigned to restrict the flow of air and help people achieve a slimmer and more muscular look.

The causes of excess weight and the resulting discomfort of the neck are well known. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of myths that go hand-in-hand with this source of pain.

Myth #1: It’s not possible to loose fat from my neck.

responders to neck exercises will report pain and loss of function and discomfort in the tool. There is a “fat netting” that takes place after the exercise session and some people may leave out the neck muscle altogether to avoid the pain and increase their height.

Myth #2: It’s not possible to tone up my muscle.

Even if you are tone, you will also burn some fat in the shoulder and arm regions as well because of the long hours of constant movement. You can tone the muscle, but you also burn off a lot of calories so it’s best to stick to low repetition exercises that force you to maintain a certain heart rate or else you won’t be able to sustain the exercise and the weight.

Myth #3: Learning how to tone my muscle will make me look like a bodybuilder and make the rest of me look scrawny.

Nothing could be further from the truth. I have always been a person who puts on weight well and I train hard with heavy weights on latex gloves at the gym. I can tone up my arms a lot but do I look like a bodybuilder? No, because I don’t lift heavy weights. To get the most out of my workouts, I do a lot of weighted repetitions with low reps.

Myth #4: Hanging from a bar is the only way to get a great lower body.

This is also not true. A lot of people will perform movements from an “in and out” movement but never let the rest of the body be stressed. These people are causing their own form of pain since their form pulls the body out of alignment. This moans from an imbalance in the nervous system.

Myth #5: Lifting a weight will make me look like a bodybuilder.

I don’t think so. Why would I want to lift weights if I’m big and weak? I’m trying to improve my strength for a sport that’s not even regulated in the slightest. You don’t have to lift heavy weights to improve your strength for training, you can lift lighter weights and increase uncle Sam lifting technique to boot.

Maybe it’s not these exercises that are making me look like a bodybuilder.. maybe it’s my relaxed style and I could look taller by growing an inch or two maybe even more. How I trained this way, was to load five 1/4 inch plyometric reps (overhand technique) three times a week. I also stretched everyday for 45 minutes. What I’m wondering is why don’t people do this. I fell that I must be growing and I’m not, I must be growing. I have to do these exercises or I will never get bigger.
